Blessing others. Meet Fi, our sister.
Some of you know that we moved into a new apartment. Our old neighbors were difficult to live with and wanted us out. Even though our neighbors were very draining for us, both emotionally and spiritually, I won't go into detail about that here (if you're interested you can ask). We now have an extra bedroom that we can bless others with. In our old apartment whenever we had short-term guests we (i.e., Dan and I) would take the couch and our guests would take the master bedroom. It was good practice in loving others and really helped train us in that area. But, I have to say it is nice to be able to sleep in my own bed.
Anyway, I thought you all would like to get to know some of those we get to bless, with your help!
This last week our “company" asked if we could house a short-termer. We will call her Fi. We said yes, of course. When we met her and heard her story we couldn't believe it. Fi has devoted her life to traveling to small villages populated by unreached people groups. She isn't part of any nonprofit organization or team. She is here on her own. Just one girl living out her life for Father
After meeting Fi, I quickly saw that she has the type of personality that really gets people here to open up and talk with her. She's been invited into the most isolated places here, and has been able to share the good news to many. She has been able to give courage and encouragement to the few believers she has met along the way, whether that’s through supplies, donations, prayers, etc. In the past six months, Fi has pr*yed over and visited 20-30 rural villages. She reminded us that our Father is so much bigger than we could ever imagine, and we are just a small part of His story. We are so thankful to be able to serve people like Fi. Fi is now our sister. Would you join us in praying for her, that Father will continue to provide for her and give her courage, wisdom, and strength? Thanks!
