Lina and I went to visit a patient of mine (with active tuberculosis) at the local infectious disease hospital. Not only was my patient in a room with other NON-tuberculosis patients, no bathroom in the entire hospital had soap! Does this make any sense??
It obviously does to some (or many).
For those that don't know, when we see patients with active tuberculosis in the States, they are isolated and we are required to put on a full-out-space-gear-outfit just to go into their room.
